Westport Actor in Custody on Child Pornography Charges: Police

WESTPORT, CT — Paul Jude Letersky, 47, the Westport resident and actor who was arrested Wednesday morning on child pornography charges, remains in custody on a $500,000 bond following a court appearance$500,000 bond following a court appearance this week, according to police.
The case remains in the pre-trial phase as of late December 2017, according to court records.
During a search of Letersky's Riverside Avenue home, police confiscated dozen of digital images of child pornography, and said he allegedly had an "inappropriate sexting relationship" with a juvenile from Colorado.

"Should Letersky post bond, his conditions of release include GPS monitoring with an around the clock curfew," police wrote in a statement. "He is required to stay at least 1,500 feet from any school or daycare, so he will no longer be residing at his former address on Riverside Avenue. Letersky is also not to have any contact with any victim and cannot possess an internet device."
Letersky lives near the Saugatuck Elementary School, hence the prohibition on where he would be able to reside should he post the cash bond. Additionally, if he were to violate any of these conditions, he would be subject to immediate arrest, officials added.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Letersky is an actor who has appeared in such shows as "The Americans" and "Boardwalk Empire," and in movies such as "Bridge of Spies," "Hope Springs" and "The Wolf of Wall Street."
