Mike Connors, Longtime Black Duck Cafe Bartender, Dies At 58

Connors, known by the nickname "Wolfie," worked at the Westport landmark for more than 30 years.

WESTPORT, CT — Mike Connors, longtime bartender at the landmark Black Duck Cafe in Westport, passed away Wednesday at the age of 58, reports the Westport News.

Known by the nickname "Wolfie," Connors worked at the Black Duck for more than 30 years until 2015. Most recently he worked at Bogey's and Partners Cafe, both in Norwalk.

Connors graduated from Staples High School in the late 1970s, where he played football and later served as an assistant football coach.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly, and his three step-children Robert, Amanda and Lindsay, according to the publication.
