Obituary: Deborah 'Anna' Gambel, 69, Of Westport

Deborah “Anna” Gambel, 69, of Westport passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 surrounded by loved ones at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Utah to the late James Gambel and Londy Spendlove, Anna grew up in Utah and came to New York City where she was successful as a singer and actress.
Most recently she was a Marketing Coordinator with Coldwell Banker in Westport and Oxford.

She spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren and had a great love of animals, classical movies and musicals. She was always there to lend a helping hand or a word of advice for friends and family without expecting anything in return.
Anna is survived by her loving daughter, Nicole Morris and her husband Robert Morris Jr. of Bridgeport; her two grandsons, Zachary and Daniel; her three brothers, Jay, Michael and Sean and her three sisters, Judy, Michelle and Diane, all of Utah and her former husband, James Clark of Florida.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Shrine in Bridgeport. Interment to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery. Friends may visit her family on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home (50 Reef Road, Fairfield Center).
