At Xerox, Dick held senior management roles in the U.S. and London. He was a staunch advocate for equal opportunity in the workplace from early in his career, recognized for his commitment to hiring and promoting women and people of color, many of whom went on to significant positions in Xerox and elsewhere.
Dick’s passion for golf was well-known at Westport’s Longshore Golf Course, where he was a frequent medalist in club tournaments and a multiple-time senior champion. In recent years, he stayed close to the game he loved by managing tournaments with the same eye for detail he once trained on a perfect fade on the dogleg 18th.
