Snow Accumulation Estimate Now Made for Westport
This won't be the storm of the century but the National Weather Service says to expect a slippery commute Friday morning.

On Wednesday, we wrote there were two snow chances in the upcoming forecast and the good news is, it appears the snow chance originally expected late Saturday and into Sunday is less likely to occur. However, we will be dealing with some snow throughout Connecticut for Friday morning's commute to work.
But this time areas closest to the immediate Connecticut coast will see the most snow, and areas inland will see the least amount. All in all this is definitely not a significant snowstorm.
The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for the entire state but that is likely because of the timing of the snow, which will be falling in most places during the morning commute and could make roads slippery.

Light snow begins late tonight and snow will accumulate 1 to 2 inches. The National Weather Service says this will impact the morning commute early Friday.
Most of the snow falls between midnight and 9 a.m. and then its over. Temps stay below freezing so there is no chance of mixing.
Inland areas of Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties:
The National Weather Service is predicting 1 inch of snow, which again may lead to a slippery Friday morning commute. Again the snow will likely fall after midnight and end by 9 a.m. It will be cold with temps only around 20 degrees.
