• Wethersfield High School Student Named National Merit Semifinalist (patch.com) — Wethersfield residents can celebrate senior Sasha Brokin of Wethersfield High School being named a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist, placing among the top 1 percent of U.S. seniors. Brokin now moves on in the 2027 competition, with a chance to earn part of $24 million in scholarships if academic performance, recommendations, essays, and test scores meet the program's high standards.
