Boss Beats Employee After He Complained of Conditions: Wilton PD
Both men were working on site at a residence in Wilton.

WILTON, CT — A man was allegedly assaulted by his boss after complaining about working conditions, police report.
A man with visible contusions and bruising filed a report with the Wilton Police Department on Dec. 5 that his injuries were caused by his employer. The victim alleged that William Escobar, 36, of Woodrow Avenue in Bridgeport, assaulted him earlier that day when the victim refused to work on a scaffold that he deemed unsafe. Both men were working on site at a residence in Wilton.
The victim accused Escobar of kneeing him in the thigh, throwing him to the ground and then kicking him in the head and forearm. During the beating, the victim alleges that Escobar threatened to kill him.

The victim was admitted to Bridgeport Hospital where he was treated for injuries.
Police arrested Escobar and charged him with second degree assault, second degree threatening, and disorderly conduct. He posted $10,000 bond, was released, and is scheduled to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 17.
