Breach Of Peace, DUI, Atop Wilton Police Blotter For Aug. 12-18
A breach of peace and a couple of DUIs were at the top of the Wilton Police Department this past week.
WILTON, CT — A breach of peace and a couple of DUIs were at the top of the Wilton Police Department this past week.
On April 10, Wilton Police were notified of an incident which took place between a parent and student at an after school event. Following an investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Nicole Kulon, 39, of Sturges Ridge Road in Wilton, charging her with one count of second-degree breach of peace. The warrant was executed on Aug. 15. Kulon posted her $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 27.
At around 1:44 in the morning on Aug. 17, police stopped the driver of a 2014 Mazda Cx-9 for speeding while travelling southbound on Danbury Road. The driver, Jonathan Ventura Hernandez, 33, of Clifton Place in Danbury, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to police. Hernandez admitted to drinking alcohol prior to driving, and failed to perform the standardized field sobriety tests to standard. Chemical testing indicated blood alcohol levels of 0.0861 and 0.0831 consecutively. Connecticut residents 21 and older are considered to be legally intoxicated with a BAC of .08 or higher.

Police charged Hernandez with speeding and DUI. He was released after posting 7 percent of his $300 bond and scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 17.
At around 3:32 the morning of Aug. 18, Wilton police stopped a 2011 Acura RDX moving northbound on Danbury Road. The driver, Grace Damico, 24, of Upper Church Hill Road in Washington Depot, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, according to the police report.

Damico failed to perform the standardized field sobriety tests to standard. She was placed under arrest for DUI and refused to submit to chemical testing.
Police charged Damico with DUI, failure to drive in the proper lane, and speeding. She paid 7 percent of her $300 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 28.
