
Celebrating its 26th year, the Fine American Craftsman Show in Wilton, Connecticut brings together some of the most noted craftsmen from across the country on Saturday and Sunday, November 12 and 13.
Featuring many of the same craftsmen who have returned year after year, this year’s show also includes several new artists and artisans who will add their creations to the wide variety of hand-made American crafts on sale all under one roof.
Craftsmen will offer a wide array of wares, including classic Americana and traditional furnishings, handmade jewelry, fabric arts, redware and pottery, Windsor chairs and benches, original oil paintings and prints, floor cloths, hand-crafted silver pieces, bird decoys, hooked, braided and penny rugs, trade and tavern signs and wood carvings. Also available are photography pieces, pewter wares, framed quilts, scissor cutting and silhouettes, folk art dolls, stenciling, rustic furniture, tatted lace, a sampling of gourmet food and much more.

A special show feature will be the many artists and craftsmen demonstrating their skills in their booths. From carving to jewelry making, stenciling to stitching, these talented and gifted artists express their creativity right on the show floor.
“This Show benefits the Wilton Historical Society and is our major annual fundraiser,” said Greg Chann, Society co-president. “Through our mission, to help our community discover the past, enlighten the present, enrich the future and enjoy our heritage, the proceeds of this show will support our efforts to present outstanding educational exhibits and programs and maintain our historic properties.”

The Wilton Fine American Craftsman Show is located at the Wilton High School Field House, 395 Danbury Road (Route 7) in Wilton, offering free parking, shuttles from the lot and local train station, a show café and more. Show hours are Saturday, 10am until 5pm, Sunday, 10am until 4pm.
