Gathering Together with "Songs of Thanksgiving"
Music on the Hill's professional ensemble, the Chamber Chorus, performs songs of love and hope in this pre-election Thanksgiving concert.
Music on the Hill presents its professional choral ensemble, the Chamber Chorus, performing songs of love and hope led by artistic director David H. Connell.
The concert features music by contemporary composers -- Aaron Copland, Alice Parker, Eric Whitacre, Arvo Pärt, and New Canaan resident Gwyneth Walker -- "specially chosen for this season when hope and love are in demand," says the conductor.
"Songs of Thanksgiving" takes place on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. at Wilton Presbyterian Church, located at 48 New Canaan Road (Rte. #106) in Wilton.
