Man Arrested on Drug Charges
The car he was in was pulled over because the rear license plate was not illuminated.

WILTON, CT — Police arrested a Hamden man on drug charges Sunday night.
Shortly after 9 p.m. on Oct. 28, Wilton police officers observed a car traveling north on Danbury Road in the area of School Road with high beams activated and a rear license plate that was not illuminated. The officers attempted to pull the vehicle over at Catalpa Road, but it continued on at a slow rate of speed until nearly reaching Cannon Road.
Upon stopping the vehicle, police discovered that the driver was not in possession of valid ID. After questioning, the passenger, Donald M. Moody, Jr., 20, of Rockwood Road in Hamden, admitted to being in possession of one small zip lock bag containing marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed the passenger was in possession of six more small bags of marijuana, as well as 60 empty clear zip lock baggies used as packaging materials.

Moody was charged with for possession with intent to sell less than 11 ounces of marijuana, held overnight, then released on $2,500 bond. The driver was issued a citation for motor vehicle violations.
