PD: Statewide Warrant Sweep Nabs 4 in Wilton
The operation commenced pre-dawn on Thursday.
WILTON, CT -- On Thursday, July 18, Wilton police, along over 90 other municipal, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in Connecticut, participated in a statewide warrant sweep operation throughout the state.
The operation commenced pre-dawn with each participating agency conducting sweeps for wanted persons within their State Police developed intelligence packages. The State Police provided updated intelligence on these wanted persons in order to conduct safe, timely, and accurate apprehensions. All warrants served in relation to this operation will be referred to a local superior court associated to their jurisdiction.

- Brian T. Kovacs, 40, was arrested at his home at 7 Brookside Place. The warrant stemmed from a 2012 arrest for failing to obey a stop sign, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and failure to show up for a court date. He was held on a $7,500 bond.
- Edward William Woodcock, 73, was arrested at his home at 24 New Street. The warrant stemmed from an arrest in August 2015 on a sixth degree larceny charge for which he failed to appear in court. He was released on a $500 bond.
- Michael F. Waldman, 59, was arrested at his home at 29 Wildood Drive. The warrant stemmed from August 2015 charges of operating a motor vehicle under suspension and failure to return his license. He also failed to show up for his court appearance. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
- Nathaniel A. Andrews, 30, was arrested at his home at 133 Indian Hill Road. The warrant stemmed from November 2016 motor vehicle violations. He was released on a $495 cash bond.
