Vanderslice, Alper Will Miss Wilton Finance Board

Vanderslice will soon assume her first selectman duties.

Two Republican members of the Wilton Board of Finance said their good-byes at a meeting Nov. 17.

The terms of Lynne Vanderslice, who is set to become the next first selectman, and Al Alper are over at the end of November, according to an article in the Wilton Bulletin.

Vanderslice said she miss the whole board and that meeting so many different people was a wonderful experience.

Alper said he was going to continue to fight for shared services and will likely be speaking as a private citizen at future town meetings.
