Wilton Among Best School Districts in State: Report
Niche.com ranked Wilton as one of the top school districts in the state.

Niche.com has compiled its list of the top 100 school districts in the United States and five Connecticut schools made the list.
The Edgemont Union Free School District in Greenburgh, N.Y. was voted the number one school district in the nation. Connecticut school districts that ranked in the top 100 include: New Canaan, 19, Westport, 30, Darien, 73, Ridgefield, 79, Glastonbury, 87, and Simsbury, 100.
Some of the factors taken into consideration for the rankings were quality of academics, extracurriculars and activities, student culture and diversity and teachers.

According to Niche, it “ranks more than 100,000 public and private schools and districts based on dozens of statistics and 27 million opinions from 300,000 students and parents.”
Wilton is ranked seventh in the state. The district received an overall Niche grade of A+ and also received an A+ in academics, educational outcomes and teachers. Administration and Policies, extracurriculars, food, health and safety and sports and fitness and resources and facilities received an A grade. Student culture and diversity got a Niche grade of C.
