Wilton Police Blotter for Dec. 2 - 7

Drugs, alcohol, and an assault-by-head-butt were all on the Wilton PD's blotter this past week.

WILTON, CT — Drugs, alcohol, a couple of fancy rides and a head-butting played parts in various arrests made last week by the Wilton Police Department.

Myles Pompei-Grove, 24, of Nabby Road in Brookfield, turned himself in at Wilton Police Headquarters on Dec. 2 after learning there was a warrant issued for his arrest.

Pompei-Grove was had originally been charged with possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and missed his assigned court date. As a result, a re-arrest arrant was issued, with a "failure to respond" infraction tacked on. He was released on a $250 bond and scheduled to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 12.

Wilton police arrested Sheree Loud, 61, of 40 Black Alder Lane in Wilton for DUI and failure to grant the right of way on Dec. 3.

While they were investigating a motor vehicle accident, police determined that Loud had attempted to make a left turn onto Honey Hill while driving southbound on Danbury Road. She did not see oncoming northbound traffic, according to police, and her BMW X1 was struck. Police administered field sobriety tests, which they say Loud failed. After she was arrested, Loud refused to take a breath test, according to police. Loud was charged was released on a $260 bond and scheduled to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 13.

Police arrested Leo Laforce, 47, of Dora Street in Stamford, on Dec. 6 for DUI, failure to maintain a proper lane, and making lane changes without signalling.

The Wilton PD pulled over Laforce when they observed his Jaguar F-Type driving erratically. According to the report, Laforce had "slurred speech, glassy and blood shot eyes with an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath," and admitted to "consuming a couple beers at a holiday party." Laforce was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests, and registered a blood alcohol count of 0.18 on the two tests he was given at police HQ. He was released on a $260 bond and scheduled to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 17.

Michael Deluca, of Norwalk, an employee of Parlor Pizza at 5 River Road in Wilton, was arrested for assault when he head-butted another employee on Dec. 7, according to police.

The two men had a dispute over a phone order that was never completed, police say. They arrested Deluca on the scene when it was "confirmed through video surveillance that the assault did take place in the same manner as it was reported." Deluca was released on a promise to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 17.

The victim did not claim any injuries and declined medical treatment, according to the police report.
