WILTON, CT — Police charged two Brooklyn men with forgery.

On Feb. 12, the Wilton Police Department was alerted that two men were attempting to pass fake $100 bills at gas stations. The police then received a second call from a clerk at the Gulf Station at 287 Danbury Road, saying two men had just left in a black Honda Civic after trying to pass a bogus Benjamin.

Officers then "flooded the area," according to the report, and located the Honda outside a convenience store at 386 Danbury Road. Police then made contact with the driver, Nasia Battle, 20, and his passenger who was emerging from the store, Tevon Johnson, 20, both from Brooklyn.
