Wilton Public Schools Calendar 2015-16

You may be thinking about how many more days you can go to the beach, but the first day of school is just around the corner. With that in mind, here are important dates for the 2015-16 school year in the Wilton Public School System.

First day of school: August 31

Labor Day (school closed): Sept. 7

Rosh Hashanah (school closed): Sept. 14

Yom Kippur (school closed): Sept. 23

Columbus Day (school closed): Oct. 12

Professional Development (No school): Oct. 13

Professional Development (No school): Nov. 3

Conferences K-8 (shortened days): Nov. 19-20, Nov. 23-25

Thanksgiving (school closed): Nov. 26-27

Professional Development (delayed opening): Dec. 11

Early Dismissal: Dec. 23

Winter break: Dec. 24-Jan. 3

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (school closed): Jan. 18

Wilton High School exams: Jan. 19-22

Professional Development (no school): Feb. 11

February Break: Feb. 12-15

Professional Development (delayed opening): March 16

Good Friday (school closed) March 25

Spring Break: April 11-17

Memorial Day (school closed): May 30

Wilton High School exams: June 9-13

Tentative Last day of school: June 14

Note: If schools are closed due to weather, additional days will be added to the end of the year. Graduation date will be set after April 1.
