Wilton Residents Asked To Weigh In On Budget, Tax Rate Ahead Of Decisions
A town survey and upcoming hearings will help shape spending plans and the mill rate for FY2027.
WILTON, CT — Wilton residents are being asked to weigh in on the town’s proposed budget and potential tax impacts ahead of key decisions in the coming weeks.
The Board of Finance has launched a public survey seeking feedback on the proposed FY2027 budgets, including a 3.6 percent increase for the Board of Education and a 4.6 percent increase for the Board of Selectmen.
If approved, the budget increases could affect the town’s mill rate, which determines local property taxes for homeowners.
