Special Town Meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Clune Center to vote on bonding for the Miller Driscoll renovation project.

A Special Town Meeting will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Clune Center to vote on bonding for the Miller Driscoll renovation project. Voting continues on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The overall objective of the school renovation project is to extend the life of the school building for 25 more years and to add sufficient, appropriate and dedicated Preschool space.
According to plans prepared by Phoenix Advisors LLC, renovations include:

- Roof and Skylight Replacement

- Masonry Repairs
- Access Control
- Hardening of Building Exterior
- Interior Security
- Communications Systems
- Life Safety Systems
Additional concerns to address are:
- Inadequate parking
- Congested traffic flow
- Unsecured/exposed outdoor play
- Impaired sight lines from office
- No identifiable main entrance
