Over the course of several afternoon sessions, members of the Windsor Woman’s Club crafted cloth pine cones, etc., ornaments, for that “ye olde” look - the theme of this year’s donation to the Wadsworth Atheneum’s Festival of Trees running December 5 through 14, 2014. Once again, the Windsor Federal Savings Bank supplied the tree the club members decorated.
The Windsor Woman’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). GFWC members are true volunteers in action - GFWC members create global change working on a local level - they select projects and programs by determining the specific needs of the communities in which they live and work every day.
