During its recent board meeting, our Windsor Woman’s Club President, Bev Callan, showed off the 8 awards the club received for last year’s hard work. Two were received at the District 6 Day meeting – 1 for International Outreach and 1 for Communication & Publicity. Six others were presented at the state’s May Convention – 1st place for Home Life Community Service Programs (various events/projects); 2nd place for WHRC (Women’s History Recourse Center); 1st place for Advocates for Children; 1st place for Arts-Community Service (various volunteering events/locations); 2nd place for Membership; and 1st place for Flower Power.
Thank you to everyone that helped in any of these areas!
WWC is open to women of all ages and meets the second Tuesday of each month, September through April at LP Wilson Community Center.
