Man Charged With Threatening Windsor Locks Motorist
A minor traffic collision escalated into the brandishing of what turned out to be a facsimile firearm, according to police.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A Broad Brook man was arrested at his home Monday night following an incident that occurred a short time earlier in Windsor Locks.
Around 8 p.m., Windsor Locks police were dispatched to Concorde Way to investigate a motor vehicle accident that had taken place at the junction of Route 75 and Shoephoester Road. The complainant said he was stopped at a red light when his car was struck from behind, Lt. Paul Cherniack said.
When the complainant exited his vehicle to inspect for damage, the second vehicle suddenly backed up and fled the scene. The complainant followed the vehicle onto Concorde Way, and was able to block the driver from traveling further, but the suspect exited his vehicle and brandished what appeared to be a gun at the complainant, then sped away, Cherniack said.
