Windsor Locks Police Charge Man with Punching Another Man in Face While Exiting Bus

The man fled the scene but police later apprehended him while he was operating a vehicle.

Windsor Locks police charged a man with punching another man in the face while he was exiting a bus on Thursday.

Officers were dispatched to the Pride Gas station at 77 Ella Grasso Turnpike to investigate the assault.

Police said that investigation revealed the man, later identified as Adam Fletcher, fled on foot after punching the man in the face while exiting the bus.

The victim had pain in the area of his nose and left eye.

Officers conducted a search for Fletcher, who was now operating vehicle.

The vehicle was spotted by police and Fletcher was placed under arrest for the assault.

Fletcher was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is due in court on May 26.
