Windsor Locks Police Investigating Assault of Man Found Covered in Blood

Windsor Locks police are investigating the assault of man who was found covered in blood and near unconsciousness last week.

Officers were dispatched to 255 Main Street on May 5 for a reported assault. Dispatch radioed that an individual was carrying another individual who appeared injured, according to police.

Officers arrived and the victim was found lying on the sidewalk. He was covered in blood, and near unconsciousness, according to police.

Medical treatment was provided immediately by police and ambulance personnel.

Police said two other males were with the victim and claimed to have been “jumped” by three other males while walking along the railroad tracks.
