New Contract for Middlebury Police Chief
Police Chief Francis Dabbo was permanently promoted to the position in August.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Local officials and Police Chief Francis Dabbo have reached an agreement on a new, five-year contract, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
Dabbo was promoted to the position permanently in August, after serving as interim chief. He replaced former Chief James Viadero, who became Newtown police chief; Dabbo's annual salary is $95,000, a $5,000 bump from his salary as acting chief.
He retired as a captain from the Waterbury police force, and the current department has other former Waterbury and Naugatuck officers.
