Delaware legislators look to pass several bills on final day of legislative session (coasttv.com) ā A state bill up for final approval would directly change how Rehoboth Beach is run, from requiring property reassessments at least every five years to ending mileage reimbursements for nonresident commissioners and updating salary rules. Lawmakers are also racing to pass major statewide measures on voting rights, gun dealer oversight, school energy drink bans, and extended alcohol hours before the legislative session ends.

Final Plan of Remedial Action for 19470 Coastal Highway (DE-1879) (delaware.gov) ā State environmental officials have finalized a cleanup plan for the former gas station property at 19470 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach, requiring strict groundwater restrictions and longāterm monitoring. Any future development must follow a DNRECāapproved materials management plan and stewardship plan to keep people from being exposed to contaminated groundwater.
