Georgetown officials are in the process of solidifying plans to enhance the major entry points into the commercial district of Georgetown. Dubbed the "Georgetown Gateway Project," developers are brainstorming possible major entry points to help alleviate the uncertainty visitors experience when trying to identify the beginning of Georgetown's commercial district.

Pizzeria Paradiso Serves Limited Menu For 'Day Without Women' Protest

Showing support for the national "Day Without Women" protest, a popular restaurant in Georgetown will serve a limited menu on Wednesday, March 8. Chef and owner of Pizzeria Paradiso Ruth Gresser will serve half of her food and draft beer to reinforce the impact of a day without women. The restaurant will also donate half of the day's profits to two women's organizations: My Sister's Place and the National Organization for Women.

Chipotle To Shutter All 15 ShopHouse Locations, 3 In Maryland

Chipotle hoped to do for Asian food what they did for Mexican food, but it didn't quote work out. Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. will shutter all 15 ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen restaurants by March 17, according to reports. The Silver Spring restaurant is located at 935 Ellsworth Dr.
