1-Year-Old Shot In Northeast DC: Police Seek Suspects (VIDEO)
Police released a video on Twitter of suspects connected to the shooting of a 1-year-old boy in Northeast Washington.
WASHINGTON, DC — DC police chief Peter Newsham shared a video on Twitter of suspects connected to the shooting of a 1-year-old boy in Northeast Washington Monday night. (Subscribe to the Washington DC Patch to stay up to date on all local news.)
The shooting occurred in the 1300 block of Eye Street, NE. at about 9:08 p.m. The boy was in a stroller while other children were playing when three men began arguing and fired shots, police said.
The boy was struck by a bullet and transported to the Children's National Medical Center in serious condition, police said. He was released from the hospital Tuesday and is now recovering at home.

"It was very unfortunate that we had a little boy struck, but it could have been a lot worse," Newsham said to NBC Washington.
