14 More Coronavirus Deaths In DC; 6,584 Confirmed Cases

D.C. Health Department confirmed Wednesday morning 14 more District residents have died due to the new coronavirus.

WASHINGTON, DC — The D.C. Department of Health confirmed 14 new deaths Wednesday due to COVID-19, the illness associated with the new coronavirus, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in the District to 350.

D.C. Health also confirmed 99 new positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the overall total to 6,584.
The new deaths in the District are described as:

  • 47-year-old male
  • 62-year-old male
  • 65-year-old male
  • 65-year-old male
  • 66-year-old female
  • 66-year-old male
  • 68-year-old female
  • 82-year-old male
  • 83-year-old male
  • 89-year-old female
  • 89-year-old male
  • 95-year-old female
  • 96-year-old female
  • 97-year-old female

D.C. Health has confirmed 31,658 District residents have been tested for the coronavirus and 934 have recovered. Contact tracing investigations are focused positive cases tied to health care workers and first responders, senior care facilities, correctional and detention centers, child care facilities and facilities serving homeless individuals.
