DC Police Arrest 17-Year-Old Man In October 2020 Homicide Case In Northwest

WASHINGTON, DC — A second suspect was arrested on Monday in connection with the October 2020 fatal shooting of 42 year-old Arthur Daniels IV in Northwest, according to a Metropolitan Police Department release.

Detectives from MPD's homicide branch arrested 17 year-old Tre Prillerman of Northwest, who was charged as an adult with first degree murder while armed.

On Dec. 18, 2020, detectives filed a similar charge against an unidentified 17-year-old man from Northwest in connection with Daniels' homicide.

Daniels was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when he was found by officers from MPD's Fourth District around 4:35 p.m. on Oct. 1, 2020 in the 6200 block of 8th Street, Northwest.

Daniels was taken to the hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
