4th Suspect Still At-Large In Fatal Shooting Of Davon McNeal, 11
Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives released photos of suspects wanted in connection with two separate fatal shootings.
WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public's help in locating two suspects wanted in two separate homicides, according to a police release. One of the suspects is wanted in connection with the July 4 fatal shooting of 11-year-old Davon McNeal.
On July 4, around 9:20 p.m., Seventh District officers were flagged down by a citizen in 1400 block of Cedar Street, S.E., in connection with a shooting, said Police Chief Peter Newsham, during the press briefing. The officers found McNeal outside his family home, suffering from a gunshot wound. D.C. Fire and EMS transported McNeal to a nearby hospital, but all life-saving efforts failed and he was pronounced dead.
MPD subsequently arrested Daryle Bond, of Southeast; Christian Wingfield, 22, of Hillcrest Heights, Maryland; and Carlo General, 20, of Oxon Hill, Maryland. They were all charged with first degree murder while armed (premeditated).

A fourth suspect in the case, Marcel Gordon, 24, of Southeast, is wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant for first degree murder while armed (premeditated).

A $55,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects in this case. Additionally, the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force has offered up to $10,000 (each) for any information leading to the arrest of each of the suspects in this case.

MPD has also identified a suspect in the July 12 fatal shooting of Shanika Williams, 28, of Northeast. She was killed about 4 a.m., in the 800 block of 19th Street, Northeast. Officers who responded to a report of a shooting found her suffering from a gunshot wound. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking the public's help in locating Steven Martin Robinson, 29, of Southeast, who is wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant for second degree murder while armed in connection with Williams' death. MPD released a photos of Robinson, who they say should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the location of either Gordon or Robinson is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.
