Baby Boy Dies In Hot Car In Northwest D.C.: Reports
The baby is at least the 15th child in the United States to die in a hot car this year, according to Kids and Car Safety.

WASHINGTON, DC — A 3-month-old baby is dead after he was locked in a hot car Tuesday in northwest Washington, D.C., according to reports.
Authorities responded to a home on Park Road Northwest around 6 p.m. after receiving a report of an unconscious child, a Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson confirmed. According to a WUSA 9 report, the child was unconscious after he was locked in a car.
When officers arrived, they found the infant inside the home but he was unconscious and unresponsive, police said.

The child was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The Office of Unified Communications is investigating the child's death. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, police said.
