Overcoming Overthinking: Finding Peace Beyond the Noise

Get out of your head and into your heart. Overthinking is a habit that keeps us stuck—fueling restless mental activity, anxiety, doubt, and over-analysis that can leave us feeling emotionally drained and disconnected from others. Instead of helping us solve our problems, excessive thinking often magnifies fear, uncertainty, and self-criticism, making it difficult to relax, make decisions, or enjoy our life.

Buddhist meditation offers a different approach. Rather than trying to control every thought, we can learn how to step back from unhelpful mental patterns and develop a calmer, more spacious mind.

Class Schedule

Thursday, September 24: Quieting the Inner Noise
Learn meditations and practical methods to calm anxiety, worry, and mental busyness.

Thursday, October 1: Letting Go of Fear and Control
Discover how attachment, uncertainty, and fear fuel overthinking—and how to release them.

Thursday, October 8: Living with a Peaceful Heart
Develop confidence, clarity, and inner balance so you can respond to life with greater ease and wisdom.

Class Format

  • Guided breathing meditation followed by a short chanted prayer 'Liberating Prayer.'
  • Teaching on the particular class topic
  • Question & Answer
  • Concluding meditation
  • Dedication & Advice on how to incorporate the meditation into daily life
