You've heard over the Blue Angels, but you may not have heard of its equivalent to the north, the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds. If you were in the vicinity of the National Mall and the Pentagon around lunchtime today, you got to see them.
After a brief delay, the Snowbirds finally soared over the D.C. region shortly before 12:30 p.m., and then came around for another pass a few minutes later. Photos and videos of the flyby immediately began circulating on Twitter.
