The Children's Inn at NIH rated among nation's top charities

BETHESDA, Md. (May 11, 2017) – The Children’s Inn at NIH, a private nonprofit organization located in Bethesda, Maryland, has once again been recognized as one of the nation’s most transparent and fiscally responsible charities as well as one of the Washington region’s Best Places To Work.

The Children’s Inn again earned the highest-possible 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the largest charity evaluator in the United States.

The Inn also has been recognized for the second year in a row as a 2017 Best Place to Work in Greater Washington by the Washington Business Journal, which honors 85 area companies that received top scores by their own employees in Quantum Workplace’s annual employee survey.

Opened in 1990 across from the National Institute of Health’s Clinical Center, The Children’s Inn provides free lodging and a wide range of educational, therapeutic and recreational services to families of children with critical or rare illnesses who are enrolled in clinical trials at the NIH, often their last and only hope.
