Huge Mess On Metro's Red Line (Photos)
Another fire issue in the Metro system caused big problems during the Tuesday morning commute.
WASHINGTON, DC -- It was an ugly scene on the Red Line for Metro riders trying to get to work Tuesday morning.
WMATA blamed a "wayward electrical current" in the Farragut North area for the problems, which caused single-tracking at the height of rush hour.
As a result, huge crowds filled the platforms at multiple Red Line stations. You can view photos of the carnage below.
