Southeast Man Fatally Shot Tuesday Night In Barry Farm Area: Police
D.C. Police are looking for the person responsible for fatally shooting 38-year-old James Curtis of Southeast on Tuesday night.

WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the fatal shooting Tuesday of 38-year-old James Curtis of Southeast, according to a police release.
Curtis was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound around 9:30 p.m., on Tuesday, in the 2600 block of Stanton Road, Southeast. Police had been called to the Barry Farm neighborhood for the report of a shooting.
Curtis was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but he later died.

MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who supplies information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person responsible for a homicide in the District.
