Suspect Wanted In Fatal Shooting Of Northwest Woman
D.C. Police are looking for Carson Posey in connection with the April 15 fatal shooting Shantal Hill of Northwest.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives are asking the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with the April 15 fatal shooting of a Northwest woman, according to a police release. The suspect is identified as Carson Posey, 20, of Northwest.
Around 10:45 p.m., officers from the First District responded to the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, N.W., for the report of gunshots. Arriving on the scene, they found a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS took the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment, but all lifesaving efforts failed and she was pronounced dead. MPD identified the decedent as Shantal Hill, 23, of Northwest.
Wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with first degree murder while armed, Posey is considered to be to be armed and dangerous.
