Uncorked Wine Festival Debuts In DC, Sat., Sept. 24; DC Armory

New Wine Festival Comes to DC in September

For the first time, the nationally renowned Uncorked Wine Festival will be in Washington, D.C. on Sat., Sept. 24 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the DC Armory, 2001 E. Capitol St., SE, Washington, D.C., featuring more than 75 wineries with 200 grape varieties, gourmet food trucks, champagne bar, international wine market, artisanal food vendors, video DJ and a photo booth. “This is more than wine tasting, this is an event with a complete experience for wine lovers,” said Michelle Harris, owner of Uncorked Wine Festivals of Los Angeles.

Uncorked DC Wine Festival has a VIP hour beginning at 5 p.m. with general admission beginning at 6 p.m. VIP tickets are $75 per person and include the extra hour as well some special wine selections to taste. General admission is $65 per person. Both prices include all wine tastings with food sold separately. The VIP admission includes specialty wines from select wineries for the first hour.
