7 Hospitalized After Being At A Panhandle Japanese Steak House: PD

Santa Rose Sheriff County reported two state agencies are also involved in the investigation into what led 7 to be hospitalized.

PACE, FL — Police say seven people are hospitalized following an "incident" at Nikko’s Japanese Steak House.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office reported early Saturday night that its Major Crimes Unit is investigating, adding it's actively working with the help of the Department of Business and Professional Regulations. Police said that the state Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco is also conducting an independent investigation of this incident.

"We have been able to confirm seven victims at this time," police wrote on Facebook. "All are currently receiving treatment at local hospitals. This is an active and ongoing investigation."
