Winning $7M Lottery Ticket Sold At FL Publix Store: Reports

A winning $7 million Cash4Life ticket sold at a Publix store has not been claimed as of Monday afternoon, per the Florida Lottery site.

PALM SPRINGS, FL — Someone in Florida became a $7 million winner in Sunday's Cash4Life drawing, both Fox 35 Orlando and WFLA reported Monday.

The winning ticket was sold at a South Congress Avenue Publix in Palm Springs, according to reports and Florida Lottery results. The prize had not yet been claimed as of Monday afternoon, per results.

The winning numbers were 5, 13, 17, 42 and 43. The winning Cash Ball was 4. The multimillion-dollar winner can receive $1,000 a day for life, per lottery officials.

Ticket purchasers should sign their tickets as soon as they buy them, per lottery officials.

In Florida, the state lottery must withhold 24 percent federal taxes on prizes more than $5,000 for U.S. citizens with a social security number.
