Cocaine Packages Worth $100K Wash Ashore On FL Beaches

Three packages of cocaine worth $100K — one marked with a logo like Chanel — were discovered on beaches in Walton County, authorities said.

WALTON COUNTY, FL — Packages of cocaine worth more than $100,000 were discovered on several Walton County beaches this week, according to county authorities.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office said three packages of cocaine were discovered Monday and Tuesday after they washed ashore at three different beaches. The packages were marked with different designs, including one that resembled the Chanel logo, according to images shared by authorities.

The first package was discovered Monday when a beachgoer found it on Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach, authorities said. The package was in a clear Ziploc bag wrapped in clear plastic, according to the sheriff's office.
