Man Dies In Florida Parachuting Incident: Police

BREVARD COUNTY, FL — A man died Saturday after what authorities called a parachuting incident in Brevard County, according to police.

Titusville authorities were called to an area near the Arthur-Dunn Airpark around 12:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a possible skydiver down, fire officials said in a statement posted on social media.

Titusville police said they found a man wearing parachuting gear on the lawn of a home located on the 2600 block of Merry Lane. He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Authorities did not release additional details. The incident remains under investigation.
