‘Stranger Things’ Star Surprises Fans At FL Movie Theater: Reports
Millie Bobby Brown, who played Eleven in "Stranger Things," made a surprise appearance at a FL movie theater for a screening of the finale.
NAPLES, FL — “Stranger Things” fans were surprised by more than how the beloved series ended at a Jan. 1 screening of its finale at a Naples movie theater.
Star Millie Bobby Brown, who played the character Eleven, or El, as her friends call her, in the ‘80s-soaked Netflix sci-fi series, showed up at Regal Naples after a showing of the season five and series finale.
While the episode is streaming on Netflix, which produced the hit show, 600 select theaters across the U.S. also aired it during special events.

"Fans like you. So thank you so much for coming out here and watching it," Brown told fans at the Naples theater, according to Naples Daily News. "I hope Eleven stays in your heart forever like she will mine. Thank you guys, have an amazing night."
She blew a kiss at the audience and waved before leaving the theater, reports said.

Brown also had her husband, Jake Bongiovi, in tow for the surprise appearance, the Asbury Park Press reported.
Theatergoers were shocked to see her, one fan told WINK News.
"The credits are rolling. They turned the lights on, and she was just at the bottom, looking up at the audience," Natilee Azzara said, adding, "And everyone's just kind of in shock, like, 'wow, why is she here? Like, is this really happening'?" said Azzara.
Another fan, Kiera Ricciardi, said, "I heard someone scream. 'Millie!' So I, like, ran back to my seat, and she was there.”
Brown and her then-fiancé Bongiovi have popped up in Naples before.
The couple stopped by the Humane Society Naples in January 2024 and left with a 1-year-old French bulldog named Shark, who they renamed Jabba and brought into the fold of the Brown’s animal rescue, Joey’s Friends.
