Larry was punched once in the parking lot, NBC News reported.
"Witness accounts and surveillance footage revealed that Johnson had struck Larry with a closed fist behind his left ear, causing him to fall to the ground," police said in a press release obtained by WEAR. "Johnson then joined the ongoing physical altercation with an unknown male, leaving Larry unattended. Subsequently, Johnson fled the scene via a rideshare service."
Authorities said Larry died from blunt force trauma, WEAR reported.
Johnson was located Monday, according to the report.
The police report obtained by WMBB said Johnson is an amateur mixed martial artist with three years of "advanced fighter training."
