Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $2 Million Sold In Florida

Someone in Florida won a $2M prize and two other players in the state won $1 million after matching all numbers except the Powerball.

FLORIDA — Someone in Florida won $2 million in Monday's record-breaking Powerball drawing worth nearly $2.04 billion, lottery officials announced Tuesday.

The numbers for Monday night's jackpot were drawn Tuesday morning following an hours-long delay over what game officials called a "technical difficulty."

Two other Florida players matched all five white balls but did not match the Powerball number and did not choose the Power Play option, meaning they won $1 million, according to Florida Lottery officials.
