• Boston Marathon: Bolles grad Charles Hicks finishes 7th; how local runners did in 130th race (news4jax.com) — Atlantic Beach runners turned in strong performances at this year’s Boston Marathon, with several locals, including Tyler McFarland, Brett House, Carol Mikell, and Mary Bowman, finishing the 26.2-mile course. The race also featured dozens of other Northeast Florida runners, led by Bolles grad Charles Hicks placing seventh overall.
