• FCSO Equips Deputies with Sensory Support Kits (flaglernewsweekly.com) — Flagler County deputies based out of Bunnell are now carrying sensory support kits to help neurodivergent residents and others in crisis during police encounters. Using drug-seized funds, the Sheriff’s Office bought 250 kits with earmuffs, sunglasses, and calming tools for community policing, school resource officers, and behavioral response teams, aiming to make interactions less overwhelming for vulnerable children and adults.
   

• The Old Brick Road: Florida's Forgotten Dixie Highway (askflagler.com) — Just a few miles west of Bunnell, you can still drive the narrow, century-old Old Brick Road, a surviving stretch of the original Dixie Highway now caught between preservation and large-scale development plans.
