Today's riddle: What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• The little-known communications network spreading across Bay County (newsherald.com) — Callaway is now part of a growing off-grid mesh network designed to keep Bay County residents connected when cell towers and internet fail during hurricanes. Local volunteers have installed repeaters in Callaway and nearby towns, using small radios and solar power so phones can still send messages. Residents can join the network with relatively inexpensive, easy-to-set-up devices.

• Panama City Panthers football stages historic comeback (newsherald.com) — Callaway fans just saw a thriller as the Panama City Panthers erased an 18-0 halftime deficit at home to beat the defending league champions, the Huntsville Rockets. A blocked punt, stout defense, and a late 36-yard catch-and-run touchdown sealed the comeback and the team’s second GDFL win, with another road test coming July 18.
