• Man charged with aiming gun at housemate (palatkadailynews.com) — A Crescent City resident and convicted felon is jailed after allegedly pointing a shotgun at a relative during an argument at a local home and later being found with a hidden shank in his boot. Deputies say the confrontation followed demands that he move out, and the case now involves multiple felony weapon charges that could affect neighborhood safety and supervision.
   

• All-Putnam County Cross Country Championship: Rain Doesn't Ruin Historic Day (palatkadailynews.com) — Crescent City High’s boys cross country team reclaimed the All-Putnam County championship by edging Peniel Baptist 28–29 at a rain-soaked Ravine Gardens State Park. Raider runners Diego Escamilla, Teofilo Nunez-Santos and Naholi Consuelos led strong finishes as Interlachen’s Paislee Guessford and Peniel’s girls squad claimed individual and team titles in a historic, all-day downpour.
